Hilbengrace Medical Center is proud to be a member of the District HIV/AIDS Committee (DHAC), a partnership with the Ministry of Health. This collaboration has allowed us to play a vital role in the fight against HIV/AIDS in our community.

In recognition of our valuable contributions and support in the health sector towards HIV/AIDS implementation,Hilbengrace Medical Center was awarded a certificate during the World AIDS Day commemoration in December 2023.This honor is a testament to our dedication to providing comprehensive and effective HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment services.

Our Role in DHAC

As a member of DHAC, we work closely with other stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for addressing the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Our involvement includes:

  • Advocacy and Policy Development: We advocate for policies that support HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment,including access to antiretroviral therapy (ART) and HIV testing.
  • Community Outreach: We conduct outreach programs to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and encourage testing and prevention.
  • Capacity Building: We provide training and support to healthcare providers and community members to enhance their knowledge and skills in HIV/AIDS prevention and care.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: We contribute to data collection and analysis to inform evidence-based decision-making.

  • HIV testing and counseling
